Dr. Christopher Collie - Asheville
Dr. Christopher Collie is a native of Danville, Virginia. From a very young age, Dr. Collie knew that he wanted to pursue a career in the dental profession, and shadowed in his dentist's office throughout high school and college. He is a graduate of Hampden-Sydney College in Virginia, where he earned a Bachelor of Science in biology with minor in chemistry. During his time at Hampden-Sydney, he was inducted into multiple academic honor societies, was an active member of Alpha Chi Sigma professional fraternity, and served in several leadership roles on campus.
Dr. Collie received his Doctorate of Dental Surgery at the Virginia Commonwealth University School of Dentistry in Richmond, Virginia. During dental school, he served as President and Vice-President of Psi Omega dental fraternity. Upon graduation from dental school, Dr. Collie completed postdoctoral training in an Advanced Education in General Dentistry residency with East Carolina University in Ahoskie, NC. He enjoys volunteering dental services to the underserved, and is active with the Mission of Mercy dental outreach programs in North Carolina and Virginia. In his spare time, Dr. Collie is an avid musician, playing the guitar, drums, and other instruments. He enjoys fishing, hiking, and live music. He is excited to join the Complete Dental Care team in Asheville, NC, where he looks forward to serving the community in western North Carolina with their dental needs.
